Discussion Group | The No Small Talk Meet Up

These meet ups are for those that like intellectual, deep and meaningful conversations. Small talk is not really on the menu, yet what is on the menu is a great time; meeting wonderful people and learning about amazing reads, engaging in unique and brave conversations and creating new friendships in a smooth and easy way.

LIFESEXPERTS invites you to a journey to explore, share and grow in a safe environment with a book, an essay, a poem or else in hand. This meet up aims to bring us readers together in an open discussion of the works that changed our life by challenging and changing us and our personal lives, relationships and more.

There is no requirement of you to read something in particular before you can join in. You just bring whatever works have made an impression on you, anything you have read that you'd be happy to share and talk about, be it a book, a quote, an article, an essay, a poem - the choice is yours. Share with the group some thoughts and insights - you don't have to share your deepest secrets, you share as much as you feel comfortable with. The organiser will make sure that the discussion flows well and there is no pressure to share.

Although we are intrigued about the works that change our romantic and intimate lives, there is no limit or guide to what you should bring.

That said...here is a tip for the shy (and maybe those keen to share a lot too).

TIP: If you wish to share about a piece of work that changed your romantic life, but feel shy, feel free to bring two or three works that have changed different aspects of your life and choose which ones to pull out your bag and when, what and how much to share.
